When a company is growing over 150% per year like SuitShop, a dynamic tool that updates inventory demand daily is critical. Fuse has taught us a lot about the popularity of our product assortment and helps us optimize our purchase orders to ensure we make the most of our inventory investments.

Prior to Fuse, I was managing our entire planning process using Excel, so I oftentimes joke that Fuse was my first hire.

FAQs
How does Fuse's forecast actually work?
Fuse uses AI (probabilistic machine learning) to generate your forecast, accounting for top-line revenue goals, mix seasonality, volume seasonality, recency weighting, and promotional events.
Can the forecast be edited?
Your forecast is fully editable. Think of it as an 80/20 model: Fuse does 80% of the work, and your expertise gets you the remaining 20% there. You know your business best, which is why we give you full control over the final forecast.
How does Fuse handle promotional events?
Fuse's Events module allows you to tag events like marketing promotions and influencer posts so the algorithm detrends them from next year's forecast. You can tag past or future events by percentage lift or unit count.
Does Fuse support size curve forecasting for apparel?
Yes, and it's style-specific (not one universal curve for the whole brand). Fuse calculates a historical size curve per style from your data, auto-populates it at the ordering level, and lets you override with a standard curve if preferred.
What if I just want to use Fuse for the supply plan?
For brands with strong forecasting capabilities, Fuse also offers a basic (non-AI) option in which you upload your own forecast to power the supply plan.
How does Fuse handle weeks of supply (WOS)?
Instead of a backwards-looking average, Fuse calculates forward-looking WOS dynamically as sales come in and forecasts change. You can set different WOS targets per product, channel, or inventory pool.
What happens when a stockout is unavoidable?
Fuse quantifies unavoidable stockouts in both units and dollars, and shows you the gap period visually (when you'll run out vs. when the next shipment arrives). This helps your team decide whether to place an emergency order, accept the stockout, or rush ship from another location.
Does Fuse track preorders?
Yes, Fuse supports negative inventory tracking. When pre-sales exceed on-hand stock, the pre-sold quantity appears in the supply planning view as part of the demand calculation.
